Goondiwindi Region Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland 2026

Goondiwindi Region Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland:

The Goondiwindi Region Scholarship, established to support students from Goondiwindi and its surrounding districts, will support one student commencing their first year of a bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern Queensland in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Goondiwindi Region Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland: 

• The applicant should be a domestic student currently residing in Australia.
• The applicant should be a resident of, or have relocated to study from, the Goondiwindi Regional Council Local Government Area (LGA); consideration may also be extended to applicants from surrounding districts.
• The applicant should be a commencing student intending to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program in Trimester 1 2026.
• The applicant should have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Selection Criteria for Goondiwindi Region Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland: 

• Answer each personal statement question (max 250 words each): experiences/influences driving your passion and career goals/impact.
• Provide evidence of a permanent residential address in, or relocation from, the Goondiwindi Regional Council LGA or surrounding district.
• Provide academic achievement (final-year school report card or post-secondary transcript).
• Provide proof of current financial circumstances.

Application Process:

Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.

Value of Goondiwindi Region Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland:

The scholarship will have a maximum value of:

• $12,000 (32-unit degree), or
• $9,000 (24-unit degree).

The scholarship will be paid as a stipend of $3000 per year (full-time study) or $1500 per year (part-time study).
