Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships are open to domestic and foreign students applying for HDRs.
Eligibility criteria for the Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships:
- Candidates applying for Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships must either be domestic or international students enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at any Australian Higher Education Provider (HEP).
- Applicants must not be receiving funding from any other sources if income is greater than 75% of that applicant's RTP Stipend rate during their study to support their general living costs.
- Applicants of Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships must not be in receipt of an equivalent scholarship/award from the Commonwealth.
- The maximum duration of the scholarship is 2 years for research masters while for doctoral programs, it's 3-4 years.

Please note that this scholarship is available only for students pursuing Research Doctorate and Research Master's degrees. Currently, the scholarship application is closed for international students at UWA and will reopen on 01 July 2025.
