The Bartlett Promise Undergraduate Scholarship at the University College London 

The Bartlett Promise Undergraduate Scholarship at UCL supports UK-domiciled students from underrepresented backgrounds in The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment, enabling them to pursue undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Criteria of The Bartlett Promise Undergraduate Scholarship:

1. Applicants must be UK domiciled with home fee status or a forced migrant in the UK, have accepted an undergraduate offer for the 2025–26 academic year, and not hold a previous undergraduate degree.
2. Candidates must meet at least one widening participation criterion, such as being in financial need (household income under £42,875), from a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic background, a Gypsy, Roma, or Traveller community, having a disability, or being a care leaver.
3. Additional eligibility includes those who have received free school meals, attended a low-performing school, live in a disadvantaged area, or are the first in their family to attend university.

Selection Criteria: 

1. The selection panel will assess applications based on the online scholarship form and the one-to-one dialogue with the Windsor Fellowship.
2. Applications will be evaluated in relation to the scholarship’s eligibility criteria.

Application Process: 

1. Selected candidates who meet their A-level requirements will have a one-to-one dialogue with the Windsor Fellowship to discuss additional supporting information for their application.
2. These dialogues will be conducted electronically (e.g., Zoom or phone) and scheduled by the Windsor Fellowship after A-level results are released by UCAS.

Award: The scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides an annual allowance of GBP 15,864 for living and study expenses throughout the course. Promise scholars also receive ongoing academic and career support during their studies.
